The new iPad 3 and Mac OS X 10.8

Apple released the iPad 3 and information about Mac OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion March 16, bringing a new generation of products to the Apple line.

The iPad 3 is the next tablet in the iPad family, released Mar. 16, 2012, the newest features include a better screen with even sharper Retina display.

Like every release of an Apple “i” product, the camera has been enhanced. With a new compact lenses with a 5 mega pixel camera and a new application called iSight, which corrects images for a much better quality on the iPad 3.

The iPad 3 also includes 4G LTE connection, so that you can surf the web anywhere at incredible speed through your AT&T or Verizion network. Along with 4G LTE you can now use Siri Dictation with the iPad 3 which allows you to speak to the iPad and it translates it into text.

Apple also announced Mac OS X 10.8 Lion. A new operating system that brings new features and a new style to the Intel generation iMac, MacBook, MacBook Pro, MacBook Air and the MacMini.

iCloud was released in iOS 5.0 in 2011, and now it is being integrated into Mac OS to keep your files safe and secure, but it also lets you share media between your Apple devices.

Apple also is adding Game Center, Reminders, Notes and the Notification Center to the operating system making it more efficient for its user(s).

The date that Mac OS X 10.8 is going to be released is unknown, but Apple did state that it will be released in the Summer of 2012, which is around the corner.
