Seminar should not be closed on Mondays

Seminar should not be closed on Mondays

Every student at De Soto High School knows how vital traveling for Seminar is, and that Mondays are closed for traveling.

I personally think that Monday should not be a closed Seminar, but instead we should have closed Seminar on Friday.

“Why Friday?” The answer is obvious. It would only allow students that have Early Release to leave their Seminars, and it would keep students that do not have Early Release in their Seminar.

Mondays are not ideal for students, because they just got back from the weekend. They might need extra help for their classes on Tuesday, or to get homework and notes from a class missed on Friday.

Students sneak out of their Seminar for Early Release, when they do not actually have the privilege. It is not right when they sneak out because they do not deserve the privilege, so security should be tightened.

If Friday does not work out then Wednesdays are also an option. It is the middle of the week, and it would give students the chance to do their homework or study for a test without extra students going in and out of their Seminar.

This would also give teachers a break, so that they can prepare for their classes on Thursday and Friday, so that all of the materials for class are ready instead of rushing around at the last minute.

Changing the day of the week that Seminar is closed would benefit students and teachers. Students could get more work done if they do not have Early Release, and teachers would not have to deal with administration chats about students sneaking out when they do not have Early Release.
